Dannii Minogue: I threatened to quit The X Factor

Singer felt she had to defend her character

Dannii Minogue's made up with Louis Walsh

Dannii Minogue warned bosses she wouldn't return to The X Factor if she was reduced to tears again.  

The Aussie singer broke down on TV after being accused by fellow judge Louis Walsh of stealing a song from his act JLS last year.

‘I made it very clear that if it was going to be anything like that again, then I didn't want to go there,’ explains Dannii. ‘I'm not made of steel.

‘It got heated on and off set. There are only so many times I can be pushed around. I had to defend my character.’

Dannii, 37, and Louis, 57, have now made up after he apologised.

‘We've cleared the deck,’ she tells The Independent. ‘Louis was very sweet on the first day of work this year.

'He said, “I'm so sorry - please don't let me do that again.”’
