Michael Douglas 'disappointed' over son's drug arrest

Actor Michael Douglas's son Cameron appeared in movies Adam And Eve and Loaded

Michael Douglas admits he feels let down by his son following his arrest on drug charges.

Cameron Douglas, 30, is accused of selling thousands of pounds worth of Crystal Meth.

If convicted, he faces a minimum of ten years in jail and a maximum sentence of life behind bars.

‘The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behaviour,’ reads a statement from Michael and ex-wife Diandra Douglas to People.

‘Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be.’

Meanwhile, Cameron’s girlfriend Kelly Sott has also been arrested after she allegedly tried to smuggle heroin to him in jail. 

A brown substance was found in an electric toothbrush she gave him, according to court documents.
