Anna Friel: My four-year-old asks me when I'll marry

But actress isn’t in a rush to tie the knot

Actors Anna Friel and David Thewlis have been together for eight years

Anna Friel admits her daughter with partner David Thewlis doesn’t understand why they’re not hitched.

The couple have been together for eight years and Gracie, 4, is starting to get impatient.

‘It’s the question we’re both asked the most,’ says Anna, 33.

‘And now Gracie keeps saying, “Mummy, when are you getting married?”

‘I suppose that puts on a bit more pressure, when your daughter’s asking, but if things work, why change them?’

Anna has thought about expanding her family.  

‘I’m wondering when would be the best time to have a second child,' she tells the Sunday Express.

'I think it’s something you can’t plan. You have to throw caution to the wind and let it happen.

‘Besides, I would never tell people that I was trying for a baby. It’s like saying, “Yes, we’re having lots of sex”.’
