Singer felt like a failure following break-up

Peter Andre is upset his marriage to Jordan didn't last the distance

Peter Andre admits he sobbed in bed after the breakdown of his marriage to Jordan.

The singer felt he'd let people down by not making their union last.

‘My sleep rarely gets affected by anything!’ says Pete, 36. ‘But I did cry myself to sleep one night.

‘I just thought about my parents and how they’ve been married for 55 years and how much I wanted my marriage to work.

‘I felt like such a failure and it really hurt me. I don’t want the kids to grow up and wonder why we didn’t try harder.

'But I swear on my life I tried everything in my power and beyond to make it work.'
