Family said to have held low-key ceremony

Michael Jackson's brain had been probed to try and establish a cause of death

Michael Jackson has been buried, his family's lawyer confirms.

The star died in June and a public memorial was held at LA’s Staples Centre on 7 July. 

‘The burial itself was at the time of the memorial,’ Brian Oxman tells GMTV.

‘When the tissues were returned to the body, then the interment was made final.’

It's thought the family held a low-key ceremony at the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills.
