Man charged over Beyoncé death threat letters

Beyoncé Knowles married Jay-Z in New York last year

A man has been charged with making death threats against Beyoncé Knowles and her husband Jay-Z.

Leon Desmond Barrett, 37, from Detroit, denies allegations he mailed threatening communications to the couple.

He is accused of sending over a dozen letters to Beyoncé, 27, and Jay-Z, 39, between December 2006 and April 2009.
