Preston: I regret storming off TV quiz show

Singer has vowed to return if he's asked

Former Ordinary Boys frontman Preston says he regrets walking off Never Mind The Buzzcocks in 2007.

The singer stormed off the set when host Simon Amstell mocked his then wife Chantelle Houghton’s autobiography.

‘I'm struggling to think why I would have acted so weirdly,’ Preston, 27, tells the BBC.

‘I would love to go on there and show them that I’m not a tantrum-y person.'

Preston divorced Chantelle in 2007 after a ten month marriage.

He admits he made mistakes early in his career.

‘I just regret the fact that I was so young and I handled myself badly, especially in interviews,’ he adds.
