Lisa Maffia wept as she was given a 12 month ban for drink driving at West London Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The ex-So Solid Crew rapper was pulled over in her Mercedes after a night out in Kensington on 26 April.

‘She's always very careful,’ lawyer Paul Legg told the court. ‘She's aware she can drink two glasses of wine.

'She actually had two glasses of champagne because someone gave it to her.

‘She has learnt from this. She has said she will not drink at all if she's going to be driving.’

Magistrates heard Lisa, 30, who lives in Kent, earned £600 last month.

She was ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £155.
