Rachel Christie has rubbished rumours she is seeing JLS singer Aston Merrygold.

The first black Miss England says she is single and not looking for a relationship.

‘I took a picture with Aston in a nightclub before I was Miss England and all of a sudden we’re “together”,’ Rachel, 20, tells Now Online.

‘But he probably doesn’t even remember me.’

Rachel is the niece of Olympic gold medallist Linford Christie.

Rachel Christie was chosen as the Face of Helen E cosmetics which fast tracked her through to the TOP 15 in Miss England 2009. Rachel won a prize package worth £30,000, including a luxurious holiday for two at the Santhiya Resort & Spa in Thailand, courtesy of specialist long haul operator Jetlife. She will take part in Miss World on 14 December in South Africa where she stands to win $100,000.
