Michael Douglas's son 'arrested for drugs possession'

Police said to have found half-a-pound of crystal meth

Cameron is Michael Douglas's son with his first wife Diandra Luker

Michael Douglas’s eldest child has been arrested after allegedly being caught with $18,000 worth of drugs.

Undercover officers reportedly found half-a-pound of crystal meth on Cameron Douglas at the Gansevoort Hotel in New York on 28 July.

He is said to have been held for possessing the amphetamine with intent to distribute.

The Manhattan attorney's office declined to comment.

Michael’s spokesman was unavailable.

Cameron, 30, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in 2007.
