Real Madrid takes steps to protect its investment

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most expensive player in football history after his transfer to Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo's football club has reportedly insured his legs for a whopping £90million.

Real Madrid has apparently taken out the policy in case he picks up a long-term injury in the future.

The Spanish club paid an £80m world-record fee for Cristiano in June.

The 24-year-old was named World Player Of The Year in 2008.
