Russell Crowe has hit back at reports he was banned from a pub near the set of Robin Hood in Surrey.
It's claimed the actor was involved in a row about licensing laws at The Brickmakers, which ended in him smashing a plate.
But Russell’s manager insists the story is completely fabricated.
‘The only truth to the whole thing is that he has been to the pub,’ Grant Vandenberg told Nine Network television in Australia.
‘He has been there four or five times with his kids. There is a playground in the back.’
Russell, 45, plays the lead in Robin Hood, due to be released on 14 May 2010.
