Actress says banker Jeremy Reed is her Mr Right

Connie Fisher dated soldier Neil Williams for five years

Sound Of Music star Connie Fisher is to marry her boyfriend Jeremy Reed.

The banker proposed with a solitaire diamond ring on the opening night of the musical in Cardiff on Thursday.

'That must be the first time a nun has ever got engaged!’ said Connie.

‘I am deliriously happy - I knew Jeremy was Mr Right from the moment I met him.' 

Connie, 25, and Jeremy, 40, met at a train station in Wales last July.

At the time, he didn’t know she was the winner of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?
