Naomi Campbell's rep: Paparazzo's attack claim is untrue

Naomi Campbell was holidaying in Lipari

Naomi Campbell has dismissed allegations she assaulted a paparrazo while on holiday with her billionaire boyfriend Mikhail Prokhorov.

Gaetano Di Giovanni claims the model scratched him and hit him with a bag on the island of Lipari, just off the coast of Sicily.

'I had just started to photograph her,’ he tells Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

‘First she hit me with her bag, screaming at me in English. Then she tried to slap me.

'I managed to avoid her – but her nails still got my eye.

‘The hospital doctor said that I would need a few days to recover and have to go to an eye specialist.

'I am thinking about taking Miss Campbell to court.’

But a rep for Naomi, 38, says: 'Reports that Naomi Campbell attacked a photographer are completely untrue.'
