Gemma Atkinson: I won’t cash in on Cristiano Ronaldo split

Actress isn’t going to spill the beans

Gemma Atkinson played Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks

Gemma Atkinson has vowed not to talk about her fling with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Hollyoaks star briefly dated the Real Madrid hunk in 2007.

But Gemma, 24, insists she’s not interested in cashing in on their romance.

‘When we did split up I got offered so much money to speak about him and I didn't want that,’ she says.

‘For a lot of these girls it's the money that attracts them - not even the job. It's really shallow.’

Gemma is now loved up with Liam Richards, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent 2008 with martial arts act Strike.

‘I've never been this happy in any relationship,’ she tells The Sun.

‘Liam's from Sheffield so we have the same northern sense of humour and family background. No airs and graces - he's a typical Yorkshire lad, which I love.’
