Morgan Freeman slams rumours he's to marry step-granddaughter

Spokesman says it's 'complete garbage' that the Hollywood star is making E’Dena Hines his bride

Morgan Freeman is angered by false reports about his relationship with E'Dena Hines

Morgan Freeman is NOT marrying step-granddaughter E’Dena Hines.

US gossip tabloid The National Enquirer claimed in an 18 June report that the actor had been having a long affair with 27-year-old E'Dena and planned to make her his bride.

But Morgan's publicicst has branded the allegations as ‘absurd'.

‘It's complete garbage,' says spokesman Dave Falkenstein. ‘The allegations are 100 per cent made up.'

Shawshank Redemption star Morgan, 72, quietly split with second wife Myrna in December 2007 after 23 years of marriage.

The actor was injured in a car crash with aquaintance Demaris Meyer in August 2008 and his lawyer then announced that the couple were to divorce.

E'Dena is the granddaughter of the Hollywood actor's first wife Jeanette, whom he adopted and raised with Myrna.
