Mischa Barton released from hospital

Actress to resume filming TV series on Friday

Mischa Barton plays a pill-popping supermodel in The Beautiful Life

Mischa Barton has checked out of hospital after being admitted last Wednesday.

The actress, 23, was taken to an LA medical centre via police escort with an unknown condition.

She will return to the set of TV series The Beautiful Life on Friday.

‘Mischa is out of the hospital and continuing to improve in anticipation of resuming production as planned,' her spokesman tells Access Hollywood.

Cops were called to Mischa’s home on 15 July but officials won't comment on the nature of the incident.
