Cabbie said to have approached record company

Mitch Winehouse is divorced from Amy's mum Janis

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch is apparently planning to bring out his own record.

The cabbie is said to have been laying down Frank Sinatra tracks for the album.

‘Mitch has been working on it for a while now,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Amy always credits her dad with getting her into singing. He loves music.

'He has a good voice and wants a go at turning professional.’

Mitch is thought to be in discussions with Island Records about a deal.
