Actress says fame's changed her over time

Sandra Bullock has compared living in the spotlight to developing a growth.
The actress shot to fame in 1994 after starring in action flick Speed.
‘It’s such a slow process, like growing a mole,’ says Sandra, 44. ‘One day it’s there and you have a mole.
‘It can’t not alter you. You feel like you’re a covert FBI agent just trying to go to the grocery store to get your groceries and feminine hygiene products.
'Literally I’ll pull them out and think: “God, I hope there’s no one with a telephoto lens.”’
The Proposal star doesn't like being in the spotlight.
‘I hate doing photoshoots, hate having my picture taken,’ she tells Metro.
‘If you can catch me from 500ft away, great, take all the pictures you want so long as I don’t see it and my gut’s not hanging out and I’m not bending over.’
