Kelis: I was in labour for three days

Milkshake singer says it was a tough experience

Kelis gave birth last Wednesday

Kelis has written about giving birth to her son Knight on Twitter.

The singer, who split from rapper Nas in April, had her mum and sister with her in the delivery room.

‘I was in labour for three of the longest, most painful days of my life,’ she writes.

‘I don't understand when women say they don't remember giving birth.

'I will remember for the rest of my life."

But Kelis says all the pain was worth it.

‘He’s kinda perfect btw [sic],’ she says. ‘He's 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth.’
