Holly Willoughby: I was sick on cameraman

TV presenter had to eat anchovies and custard

Holly Willoughby will start on This Morning in September following Fern Britton's exit

Holly Willoughby once vomited while filming a TV show.

The presenter, who has replaced Fern Britton on This Morning, says doing kids’ TV was tough.

‘I was sick on telly once,’ she admits. ‘I had to eat anchovies and custard, then I did a shot of Tabasco and my throat fuzzed up.

'I was trying to humour all these kids dancing around as the sick was rising up in my throat.

'The second we were clear I ran over to a cameraman and I was sick on his feet.’

Unfortunately, that wasn’t Holly’s only bad experience when she was starting out in TV.

‘I spent three years of my life dressed as a French maid covered in gunge,’ she tells OK!

‘People would look at me funny in the street because you can’t get the smell of custard pie off of your skin no matter how hard you scrub in the shower.’
