SHOCK! Sugababes suffering from severe bout of flu

Band ordered to rest for at least seven days

Amelle Berrabah, Heidi Range and Keisha Buchanan have been recording their new album in the States

Sugababes Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah have been diagnosed with severe flu.

The pair have had to cancel promotional duties for their new single Get Sexy.

‘Heidi and Amelle are suffering with a severe bout of flu,’ reads a statement on their official website.

‘They’ve been instructed to take at least a week off before a reassessment and so will unfortunately be out of action for at least the next seven days.’

Fellow bandmate Keisha Buchanan, 24, posted a message of support for an ill pal on Twitter.

‘Someone I know has swine flu,’ she writes. ‘Get well soon, hun. We'll laugh about it when you’re all better. I’m already thinking of nicknames.’
