Kiefer Sutherland assault case dropped

24 star cleared over alleged headbutting incident

Kiefer Sutherland served 48 days in jail for a drink driving conviction in California in 2008

Kiefer Sutherland won’t be prosecuted for allegedly assaulting clothes designer Jack McCollough.

The 24 actor, 42, was quizzed by cops over claims he headbutted the style guru at a Manhattan club in May.

But the case against Kiefer has been dropped by the New York District Attorney.

‘We declined to prosecute after a full investigation,’ the DA said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.

‘And that included speaking to the complaining witness who was quite uncooperative… Therefore, the DA declined to prosecute.’
