Phillip Schofield wore Fern Britton’s dress in a funny video created as a leaving present for the This Morning star.

The Dancing On Ice host, 47, and the rest of the show’s crew took turns to squeeze into the white Princess Leia-inspired outfit. 

‘It’s testament to Fern’s incredibly svelte frame because we all really struggled to get into it,’ Phil writes on his official website.

‘I am not in the habit of putting a frock on, partly because ladies - I don’t know how the hell you walk in heels, but this is the second time I’ve done it for a laugh. Let’s never talk of this again!’

Holly Willoughby, 28, will replace Fern, 52, on This Morning when the programme returns in September.
