Jennifer Love Hewitt denies engagement rumours

Actress's rep says there's no truth to reports

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy started dating shortly after she split from fiancé Ross McCall in January

Jennifer Love Hewitt's man Jamie Kennedy has not popped the question.

US tabloids claim the actor, 28, proposed on stage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California, after being encouraged by the crowd.

But Jennifer’s rep says: ‘There is no truth to the report.’

Last month, Jen, 29, admitted that if she and Jamie weren't planning a wedding by 2010 ‘there's a situation’.
