Nick Lachey: I'm not getting back with Jessica Simpson

Pair haven’t been in contact for two years

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson wed in 2002 and separated in 2005

Nick Lachey denies he and Jessica Simpson are reuniting following her split from Tony Romo.

‘I think it’s fun storytelling, but there's very little truth to any of it,’ says Nick, 35.

‘I certainly have heard about her break-up and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done.

‘Aside from that, there really is nothing to say.'

The singer's not been in contact with his ex-wife, 29, since 2007. 

‘I haven't talked to her in probably two years,’ he tells People.

'I wish her happiness. That’s where it pretty much ends.’
