Sir Alan Sugar has been given the role of enterprise tsar in the government

Sir Alan Sugar has been sworn in as Baron Sugar Of Clapton in the House Of Lords.

The Apprentice star wore traditional robes for the ceremony.

Sir Alan, 62, was hired by Gordon Brown as a government business advisor last month.
