As a stressed out Jordan landed in LA last week, she admitted that she’s had the worst time of her life, saying: ‘It’s been a rough few weeks.’
The newly single glamour model spoke exclusively to Now as she arrived at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on 14 July.
‘I’m so exhausted,’ she told us as she booked herself in under the pseudonym Mrs Holden. ‘I’m so glad to be here for a few days. I love LA, but I’m tired.’
Although in public Jordan’s been defiant, the stress has all but destroyed her. Now can reveal that she broke down twice last week. And on Wednesday, after spending the afternoon lazing about in the sun at the pool, she dined alone at The Ivy in LA, where she spent the evening texting her friends.
A fellow diner told Now that she was ‘looking sad and tearful. Her eyes looked heavy, like she was a bit depressed.'
Just a few days earlier Jordan had heard from Pete for the first time since her interview with Piers Morgan. Having opened her heart to Piers on television about her miscarriage, Jordan was left sobbing in her room for several hours after she received texts from Pete saying she should be ashamed of her behaviour.
Jordan’s insistent she only did the interview – for which she was paid £100,000, which she donated to charity – to tell everyone that Pete isn’t the ‘saint’ he’s been portrayed as.
As a stressed Jordan arrived back in the UK last Friday, she walked into an almighty storm. Pete had consulted his lawyers about extending his access rights.
Last week, when Peter was interviewed on This Morning, he refused to criticise his estranged wife and tried to keep a dignified silence, but he’s never hidden his loathing for Jordan’s binge drinking. Her drinking and irresponsible behaviour could play a big part in their custody battle.
