Amanda Holden: Piers Morgan is a pompous pain in the a*se

Britain's Got Talent judge lets off steam

Amanda Holden isn’t afraid to slate her co-judge Piers Morgan.

The pair work together on ITV show Britain’s Got Talent.

‘Piers can be such a pompous pain in the a*se,’ Amanda reveals.

‘When it comes to giving his opinion on an act, he never stops talking. We just want a “yes” or “no”, and he’ll drone on, using up all the adjectives I’d thought of.’

Amanda, 38, also has a pop at Piers' former career in Fleet Street.

‘I don’t know how he was ever a newspaper editor,' she tells Weekend magazine. 'He needs editing himself.’

Former showbiz journalist Piers, 44, used to edit the News Of The World and the Daily Mirror.
