The group set the record straight

Girls Aloud don’t want fans to think they're all going their separate ways.
They have posted a message on their official website saying they are simply taking a break to pursue a number of new projects over the next 12 months.
‘We are all going to be involved in lots of different things – music, TV, fashion and more. Sometimes it may be a solo project – sometimes just a couple of us and sometimes all five of us together,’ reads the statement.
Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh insist they’ll be around for years to come.
‘We are definitely NOT splitting up,’ they add. ‘In fact, we have all signed a new contract with Fascination/Polydor Records guaranteeing that we will release at least another three Girls Aloud albums – minimum.’
