SHOCK! Mischa Barton hospitalised on doctor's orders

The OC actress is being kept in LA clinic

Mischa Barton is now resting up

Mischa Barton is being monitored in hospital for an undisclosed problem, her rep confirms.

The actress, 23, was taken to an LA clinic on Wednesday via police escort. 

‘She was safely transferred to medical treatment for which she remains hospitalised, as per the recommendation of her doctor,’ Craig Schneider says in a statement.

LAPD's Gus Villanueva says: ‘Shortly after 3pm, a police unit responded to the home of Mischa Barton for a medical issue, which the Police Department is currently helping her with. No one was arrested.’

Mischa missed the premiere of her new movie Homecoming last night.
