Russell Brand: I want Jonas Brothers to perform at my wedding

Comedian wants to reconcile with teen band

Russell Brand is to host the MTV VMAs again in September

Russell Brand has extended an olive branch to the Jonas Brothers.

The comedian mocked Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards for pledging to remain virgins until they’re married.

But now Russell, 34, has thought of a way to make it up to the boys.

‘I want the Jonas Brothers to perform at my wedding…to one of them,’ he told Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show.

Meanwhile, Russell says he'll give out tickets to this year’s VMAs, which he is due to host again in September.

‘I will be giving tickets to the first nine people to Tweet me to climax – Twit-gasm,’ he writes on Twitter.

‘I will genuinely give out VMA tickets to the event using the most corrupt procedure imaginable.’
