Peter Andre: Miscarriage was NOT reason for Jordan split

Singer says there was a lot of factors behind break-up

Peter Andre and Jordan were married for 3 and a half years

Peter Andre insists Jordan’s recent miscarriage did not destroy their marriage.

On Saturday the glamour model, 31 - real name Katie Price - told Piers Morgan in a televised interview that she was 10 weeks pregnant when she lost a baby earlier this year.

Now her estranged husband has been asked to confirm if this was the cause of their break up.

‘I have said before that there is more than one reason, there's more than five reasons, there's a lot of reasons,’ Peter explained in an interview with This Morning.

'I just hope that people will not think that something could be as easy or as simple as that.’

Pete, 36, has vowed not to reveal the real cause of the split because he doesn’t think it would be fair on kids Junior, 4, Princess Tiaamii, 2, and stepson Harvey, 7.

‘I've purposely not spoken about this and there's a reason for it,’ he says. ‘When you do speak you have to think long term.

‘Right now, it would benefit me to speak, and there's a lot I would want to say, but long term, I know the kids are going to grow up and look back at everything

‘I'm going to protect them with everything I've got. Yes, we are in the public eye, there's going to be things in the press.

'The main thing is that when someone hears me speak I don't say anything bad about the mother of my children. That's how it's been up to this point and I hope it carries on that way.’
