Glamour model has ditched the fake tan

Chantelle Houghton feels a lot better about herself now

Chantelle Houghton admits she used to pile on the slap because she was so unhappy.  

The glamour model's marriage to Samuel Preston broke down in 2007 and she's had no luck finding her second Mr Right.

‘I used to try to hide behind the make-up – I was hiding pain,’ says Chantelle, 25, who is now feeling more secure.

‘Before, I’d never leave the house without make-up…I just wanted to be loved. I think the way I looked before, I was attracting the wrong type of men.’

Chantelle has decided to go for a more natural glow. 

‘Looking back now, I can’t believe the amount of make-up I used to wear,’ she adds. ‘I don’t even fake tan anymore!’
