Madonna plans more surgery for 'bingo wings'

Madonna isn't happy with her body

When body-conscious Madonna resumed her Sticky And Sweet tour in London on 4 July, she appeared in the best shape of her life. But underneath that polished veneer, she's sensitive to criticism of her bulky arms.

The 50-year-old says it’s the one part of her body that lets her down. She's looking at having armpit surgery to remove unsightly underarm skin. 

‘Madonna says that after all the thousands of hours she’s put in at the gym, she feels like her body’s betrayed her,' says our source. 'She wants to have the skin lifted on her arms because despite her incredible dedication to diet and exercise, it’s lost some of its elasticity.

‘She also wants to reduce the size of her biceps. Her worries have been made worse by other people’s comments.

'Even though they’re meant to be friends, Sacha Baron Cohen keeps talking about her in character as Brüno, saying she looks like a transvestite. She hates to be called masculine – she wants to be toned but feminine. That’s why she’s also looking to have another boob job in the next 12 months.’

The first surgery Madonna will have is brachioplasty, which reduces excess skin and fat under the arm down to the elbow.

Our source says: ‘She hates the way everyone goes on about her veiny arms. She’s already tried to address the problem by changing her exercise regime, cutting back on Ashtanga yoga and doing more Pilates instead.’
