Singer and bandmates are taking time out
Tuesday, 14 July 2009
Sarah Harding says being in Girls Aloud has been like running on a treadmill for six years.
The singer, 27, is taking a break from the band to concentrate on her acting career.
'We all want to explore different avenues,’ says Sarah.
‘It just gives us a bit of time out, otherwise you end up getting complacent.
'It’s not fun when things feel like groundhog year.’
But Sarah insists Girls Aloud aren't splitting.
‘We’ll probably start doing another album next year,' she tells a teen mag.
‘I’m still going to do music. It’s my first love. I want to concentrate on acting, but it’s not going to stop me from doing some writing.'
