Duncan James: I'm bisexual

The Blue singer says he's loved men and women

Duncan James says he first had a relationship with a man in 2001

Blue's Duncan James has admitted that he's had partners of both sexes.

'I'm bisexual. I've been in loving relationships with men as well as women - and I'm not ashamed,' he says.

The singer, 31, who once dated Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and has a 4-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend Claire Granger, is tired of trying to conceal the truth about his love life.

'Now, in my early 30s, I know who I am and I'm proud of who I am,' he tells The News Of The World. 'I don't want to hide anymore.'

Bandmates Simon Webbe, Lee Ryan and Anthony Costa were all cool about Duncan's secret when he told them the truth.

'I thought there might be weirdness,' he explains, 'but there wasn't.'
