Singer and four-year-old stay at luxury hotel

Madonna says she couldn't stop crying when she heard Michael Jackson had died

Madonna has taken her adopted daughter Mercy James to the Ritz in Paris.

The singer, 50, was snapped arriving at the historic hotel, hand-in-hand with the four-year-old.

Mercy, who wore a pink coat and matching trainers, looked round curiously at photographers.

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, 13, and adopted son David Banda, 3, were also by her side.
