Jacko memorial gig planned for London

AEG Live to honour the singer’s life

Footage of Michael Jackson's rehearsals for his 02 gigs has been released

A second memorial could be organised for Michael Jackson – in London.

The show the singer was going to stage in the capital could be
turned into a tribute gig featuring his family, says his tour promoter.

‘The world needs to see this production,’ AEG’s Randy Phillips tells Sky News.

‘The [This Is It concert] would have been, which is the tragedy here, one of the most amazing shows ever, so at some point we want the world to see that.

‘The world needs to see this production and I would imagine it could be done as a tribute with the family, with the brothers performing, some sisters, and the stars that were influenced by him.

'We are discussing with the family so the sooner, the better.’

It's thought the concert could be held on Michael’s 51st birthday on 29 August at The O2.
