Kelly Preston to help other mums deal with grief

John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston is expected to talk at a conference about the death of their 16-year-old son Jett.

The teenager, who had Kawasaki Syndrome, died on 2 January after having a seizure at the family’s holiday home in the Bahamas.

It's thought Kelly will speak about her loss at the Grief & Resilience panel at California Governor’s Conference For Women in October.

‘If she can empower one other woman who feels like they can’t get out of bed, or get through the day, whatever the loss, it’ll be worthwhile sharing her story,’ host Maria Shriver tells People.

The conference runs from 26-27 October in Long Beach.

Kelly, 46, and John, 55, are also parents to daughter Ella, 9.
