Actress is learning to deal with her body issues
Saturday, 18 July 2009
Courteney Cox is starting to feel her age.
The Friends star, 45, doesn't like what she sees when she catches sight of herself in the mornings.
‘I certainly don’t wake up and think I [look good],’ says Courteney.
‘I look at myself in the mirror and think, “Oh, I’m getting older. My skin is losing that glow. Where's that youthful texture? It’s all falling apart.”
‘It’s so ironic, isn’t it? Just at the point when you’re feeling OK about who you are, all the external bits start to go.’
But Courteney, who is married to David Arquette, is determined not to become obsessed with getting older.
‘You have to learn how to deal with it,’ she tells Grazia. ‘That’s what me and all women my age are dealing with right now.’
Courteney is mum to Coco, 4, who she had with the help of IVF.
