Britney Spears defended over airbrushing claims

Only singer's roots were touched up and tan deepened

Britney Spears is mum to sons Jayden James and Sean Preston

Britney Spears' rep has responded to claims she was digitally enhanced for a clothing campaign.

The photoshoot for Candie's drew complaints that Britney, 27, was heavily airbrushed.

But an original snap of the star was sent to blogger Perez Hilton, who said the pictures were 'practically paintings'.

The retouched version shows only Britney's roots have been lightened and her tan enhanced.
