Michael Jackson’s life was celebrated at a public memorial yesterday.

Lionel Richie, Usher and Brooke Shields led the tributes to the singer at LA’s Stapels Centre.

Other guests included Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah and Jennifer Hudson.

The stars looked emotional as they took to the stage.

Earlier, the Jackson family held a private funeral for Michael, 50.
