Britain's Got Talent star Shaheen Jafargholi will sing at Michael Jackson’s memorial.
The singer’s life will be celebrated during a public service at LA’s Stapels Centre this afternoon.
Organisers asked Shaheen, 12, to attend after hearing his version of Michael’s Who’s Lovin You on the ITV show.
‘Michael was a huge inspiration to me I’m nervous, but I’m honoured and privileged to have been invited to perform here,’ he says.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell, 49, is chuffed for Shaheen.
‘It’s an incredible honour,’ he tells The Sun. ‘Michael was his idol. We’re so proud of him.’
Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross and Usher are also expected to take part.
It's thought Mariah Carey, 39, will sing Jackson 5 tune I’ll Be There.
