Wayne Rooney was taken to a hospital in St Tropez after cutting his ear on holiday.
The footballer slipped and hit his head on the deck of his holiday yacht in the French Riviera.
It's thought Wayne, 23, required 45 stitches for the gash.
'He has had a number of stitches in his ear following an
accident on board the boat,' says his rep.
'The
procedure was carried out under local anaesthetic.'
His ear is expected to remain bandaged for two weeks.
