Zoe Ball: I’ve quit drink to try for a baby

Radio 2 host wants to expand her family

Zoe Ball and Norman Cook have been married fror ten years

Zoe Ball has given up alcohol to increase her chances of falling pregnant.

The Radio 2 host, who already has a son, is keen to have more kids with husband Norman Cook.

‘Norm and I haven’t drunk all year because we want another baby,’ reveals Zoe. ‘We haven’t touched a drop since New Year’s Day.

'Woody is eight now and we'd love for him to have a baby brother or sister. Hopefully that will happen now.’

Zoe, 38, also wants to support Norman, 45, who was treated for alcohol addiction earlier this year.

‘He’s doing amazingly,’ she tells Celebs On Sunday. ‘He had his first gig six weeks ago and was so nervous as he wasn’t drinking. But it went well.

'Giving up wasn’t easy but I wish we’d done it years ago.’
