Zoe Ball: I did a pole dance in front of Simon Cowell

Radio 2 host had too much to drink at Stringfellows

Zoe Ball is married to DJ Norman Cook

Zoe Ball once performed a saucy dance in front of Simon Cowell.

The Radio 2 host was partying at Stringfellows when she got the urge to get up on stage.

‘My mate and I got a bit drunk - in my former life – and ended up there trying to pole dance,’ admits Zoe.

‘This man came up to us and said, “Um, can you get down please? But before you do, can this man take your picture?"

'It was Peter Stringfellow and he was sat at a table with Simon and loads of really big bods from TV.’

But Zoe, 38, isn't sure if Simon liked what he saw.

‘We said hello, then a few minutes later Simon sent a bottle of champagne over to us,’ she tells Celebs On Sunday.

‘I think it was to stop me from dancing ever again, rather than congratulate me.’
