David Carradine death 'not suicide'

TV doctor conducts second medical examination

David Carradine married five times

David Carradine died from asphyxiation, a second autopsy has revealed.

The Kill Bill star, 72, was found naked inside a wardrobe with a cord around his neck, wrists and genitals in a Bangkok hotel room on 3 June.

Thai authorities conducted a medical examination shortly after his death, but David’s family wanted a second.

‘The cause of death was asphyxiation, an inability to breathe, now why that happened is still what we’re working on,’ says Dr Michael Baden of HBO’s Autopsy series.

‘He didn’t die of natural causes, and he didn’t die of suicidal causes from the nature of the ligatures around the body, so that leaves some kind of accidental death.’

A rep for David’s brothers had no comment on the preliminary results of the report.
