HarperCollins will now publish it next year
Friday, 3 July 2009
The release of Russell Brand's latest book has been pushed back by a year.
The comedian signed a £1.5million deal with HarperCollins in June 2008 to pen two books.
But Russell's work commitments mean he hasn't been able to write.
'We are very disappointed not to be publishing Russell's book this autumn,' a HarperCollins spokesman tells The Sunday Telegraph.
'We love the material that we have seen so far. Russell has simply been too busy to finish.'
His next book is now due to hit shelves in autumn 2010.
Russell, 33, published My Booky Wook in 2007 for Hodder & Stoughton.
