Singer opens up about struggle
Saturday, 4 July 2009
Lenny Kravitz admits that he isn’t finding his sex ban easy.
The singer has been celibate for the past four years because he thinks love-making will be better after he's married.
‘For some periods of time it’s easy, and then it’s really hard,’ says Lenny. 'It goes back and forth.
‘It's not hard just walking through life, and you see women, and I admire them - I love being around women.
'But if you're seeing someone, you've got to explain, "Well, this is what I'm doing in life - so that's not going to be part of it."'
Lenny, 45, is hoping that he won't be waiting too long to meet the right woman.
‘I think sex and intimacy and all that is very important,’ he tells Telegraph Magazine.
‘It’s just that I’m going to do it with my wife, and not everybody else.’
